Education Technology Research Resources

Center for Educational Technology at IIT Bombay maintains a good handbook for researchers in the area of Educational Technology. It highlights the 3 stages of research and the corresponding templates with details per each template including the criteria at each stage.

Venues to publish CS Education Research

  • COMPUTE: It is the flagship computing education conference in India and it publishes papers on all aspects of computing education.
  • ITiCSE: Annual Conference on Innovation and Technology in Computer Science Education, this is a Europe/UK based SIGCSE conference.
  • ICER: ACM International Computing Education Research.
  • CompEd: ACM Global Computing Education Conference. It is a SIGCSE conference for outside North America and Europe, and held every two years.
  • SIGCSE-TS: Technical Symposium on Computer Science Education. It is the primary SIGCSE conference, held in North America.
  • SIGCSE Virtual: This is the newest, and purely virtual conference from SIGCSE.
