No. Submission deadlines cannot be extended due to ACM’s strict production requirements, so all authors must submit their materials by the published deadline. However, they can submit their partial work as a poster and get feedback.
Yes. Submissions on teaching CS subjects to non-CS students are within the scope of ACM COMPUTE. However, general pedagogy topics that are not related to computer science education are considered out of scope.
If your tool has been implemented and evaluated, it may be suitable for submission as a paper. If it is still a work in progress, it is better suited for a poster submission.
Yes. Even though the four working groups have already been formed, interested individuals can still contribute their expertise. Review the working group project descriptions on the conference website and contact the working group chairs to offer your skills. Contributions will be formally acknowledged.
Undergraduate students can contribute in several ways, including collaborating with faculty members on research or educational tools, submitting projects to Demo Day, or participating in panel discussions by sharing the student perspective.
